Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a student with complex needs, working closely with the class teacher to develop individualized plans and strategies to promote the student's learning and well-being.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs, with a minimum of 3 months' experience in the last 2 years. A TeamTeach qualification is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, nurturing, and able to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop individualized plans and strategies to support the student's learning and well-being.
  • Provide one-to-one support to the student, facilitating their learning and promoting their independence.
  • Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and development.
