We are seeking an experienced Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £123,000 - £152,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with other professionals to provide high-quality specialist clinical assessments and develop individually tailored treatment plans for children, young people, and their families. As a Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Consultant, you will be expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and liaise with colleagues across the trust to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with NICE guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver effective care and support
  • Participate in consultant-led meetings and contribute to service development initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • AC/S12 status
  • Excellent knowledge of child and adolescent mental health and relevant clinical skills
  • Able to manage complex cases and make informed decisions based on evidence and expert opinion
