About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic student with a passion for Health, Safety, and Environment to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Darlington, UK. As a Placement Student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a major global organization, developing the skills and expertise needed to succeed in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HSE team with project work, including COSHH assessments and research investigations.
- Conduct projects that add real impact and value to the organization.
- Manage project reporting and publishing of monthly Health, Safety, and Environment reports.
- Provide support to the team with internal auditing and project coordination.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in Health & Safety / Environmental or STEM.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages and PowerBI.
- Ability to collate data, solve problems, and think innovatively.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
