Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Quality and Curriculum. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality of our educational offerings, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and enhance the quality of educational offerings, ensuring alignment with Ofsted requirements and Education Inspection Framework (EIF) quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement curriculum frameworks for apprenticeships and adult education programs, ensuring relevance and impact.
  3. Serve as the Ofsted Nominee, guiding Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs), and facilitating standardisation meetings to maintain consistency and quality.
  4. Design and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the quality of education and training, as well as curriculum development.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements related to further education, skills training, and curriculum standards.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to align quality assurance processes and curriculum development with organisational goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager role within the further education and skills sector, with expertise in curriculum development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, Education Inspection Framework (EIF) quality standards, and curriculum design principles.
  • Prior experience as an Ofsted Nominee for an educational provider with a Good or Outstanding rating.
  • Exemplary communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of inspiring and guiding teams towards excellence.
  • Ability to analyse complex data, produce insightful reports, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
