This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled professionals and drive excellence in technical service delivery as a Technical Services Area Manager at Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum.

The Role: Delivering Unmatched Customer Satisfaction

In this leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of field-based technical services, ensuring operational goals are met and maintaining an unmatched standard of customer satisfaction. You will lead from the front, driving performance through strong team management, strategic resource planning, and innovative problem-solving. Your expertise will ensure key performance indicators like response time, first-time fix rate, and first-time installation are consistently achieved. Using data insights, you will produce detailed reports on service performance and client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and actionable solutions.

  1. Build High-Performing Teams: Manage and motivate a multi-skilled, field-based team to deliver top-tier technical services.
  2. Optimise Operational Efficiency: Monitor KPIs, address escalations, and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health and safety protocols.
  3. Improve Service Delivery: Leverage performance data to drive service enhancements and provide detailed reporting on operational progress.
  4. Allocate Resources Effectively: Balance resources effectively to maintain consistent service quality across the region.
Your Essential Skills & Experience

We are seeking a dynamic leader who thrives on driving collaboration and high performance. You will have a proven track record of managing multi-skilled field service teams and navigating both incremental and transformational changes. Essential skills include solid engineering and technical commercial expertise, background in technical service management, proven experience in field team management, and degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience. Additionally, management qualifications and stakeholder engagement skills are highly valued.
