We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineering Technician to join our team in New Malden, London.

About the Job

This role will involve creating and reviewing electrical designs and drawings to deliver on a Defence maritime platform management project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review electrical designs and drawings
  • Manage Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Provide electrical engineering support to the Electrical Design Engineering team
  • Design and develop component libraries
  • Review electrical schematics in accordance with relevant standards and internal Computer Aided Design (CAD) processes
  • Maintain documents and drawings through development and production changes
  • Collaborate with other engineering functions from a mechanical drawing perspective
  • Action Change Notes (CN)
  • Manage configuration management processes for baseline control

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and a working knowledge of defence standards. They should also be proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or similar.
