Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Department Manager to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the management and daily running of the pharmacy department, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medicines to patients, staff, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical direction and leadership for the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance.
  • Manage the delivery of care, ensuring safe provision of staffing that meets activity by workforce planning, monthly rostering, and daily review.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the safe and effective medicine management service, providing daily clinical direction and leadership for the pharmacy department.
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy (M Pharm, B Pharm, or BSc Pharmacy) registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Leadership experience and knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
  • Experience in a hospital/acute setting (desirable).
