Maternity and Neonatal Quality and Compliance Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead quality and compliance initiatives across Maternity and Neonatal services at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality and compliance strategies to improve patient care and safety
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and governance colleagues to drive positive change and improvement
- Coordinate quality peer review visits and action plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead audits and corrective actions to identify and address areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including the Care Quality Commission and NHS England

Person Specification
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who can demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience of leading quality and compliance initiatives in a healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Knowledge of quality and compliance frameworks, including the Care Quality Commission and NHS England
