About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Select's Maidstone store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining a high-performing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth and Management
    • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
    • Manage all associated costs to ensure profitability
  • Customer Experience
    • Deliver an engaging and personalized customer experience
    • Communicate successes with Store Managers across all locations
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Translate commercial objectives to the team, ensuring everyone understands their role in driving sales growth
    • Monitor and optimize resources to maximize team potential
    • Set weekly targets for the team
  • Store Operations
    • Ensure day-to-day administration is completed accurately and on time
    • Monitor and process stock rotations, price updates, and other administrative tasks
  • Coaching and Development
    • Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential
    • Provide constructive feedback to the Regional Store Manager on areas of development
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years' retail management experience
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of best practice, retail theatre, and effective strategies in retail
    • Strong organizational and management skills with a focus on attention to detail
    • Ability to spot and read retail trends and utilize data to assist
    • Natural leader with the ability to coach and inspire
