Warehouse Operations Manager

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000

Based in North London

Lime Talent is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a team of over 35 employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring workflows are efficient, safe, and customer-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods
  • Leading and supervising a team of warehouse staff, providing hands-on support and leadership
  • Working with the Stock and Health & Safety teams to ensure seamless operations, accurate stock management, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Organizing and optimizing warehouse space to streamline processes and improve the customer experience
  • Assisting the Branch Manager in achieving performance targets and operational objectives
  • Monitoring and managing staff performance, including conducting training and appraisals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse or retail management, ideally in the trade or construction materials industry
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 20+ people
  • Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate staff
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

Flexibility is required for this role, including working weekends and bank holidays on a rota, to ensure full operational coverage during peak trading periods.
