About the Role

Rochdale Borough Council is seeking a highly motivated and organised Care Coordinator to join their team.

The post is a 12-month temporary full-time (37 hours per week) role and is based in the Short Term Assessment and Reablement Service (STARS), which is part of the Rochdale's award-winning Adult Care services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-task and have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
  • Be part of the on-call rota to support staff in the community in the evenings and at weekends.
  • Work on your own initiative, whilst demonstrating a professional and enthusiastic attitude to everything you do.
  • Be a team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have good ICT skills and be able to use a range of packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records using both manual and electronic systems.

About the Team

You will be based in the offices at 72 Drake Street, Rochdale, located in the heart of Rochdale, within walking distance of the new Riverside Retail development.
