The successful candidate will join a team which develops innovative betting solutions. These solutions entail the development of sophisticated mathematical and statistical models, high-performance algorithms, efficient coding, automation of betting operations, data generation, acquisition, storage, and manipulation, as well as performance analysis through back-testing and simulations.
Key Responsibilities- Acquire data from multiple data sources, filtering, cleaning, and wrapping.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide detailed reports.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Work collaboratively with the team to prioritize business and information needs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Design, build, test, and deliver data processing and automation software.
- Statistical modeling and data analytics skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to retain information.
- Adept in analytical programming languages such as R, Python, C++, etc. with at least 2 years commercial experience.
- BSc in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive 'can do' attitude, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new environments.
- Experience in the financial, betting, or gaming industries is a plus.

We are a small but rapidly growing team of mathematicians, data scientists, and software engineers constantly striving to refine our world-class betting models while also researching and deploying new ones. Our work bridges three domains, each challenging in its own right - betting and gambling, quantitative research, and software development. The nature of our work and the relative immaturity of modern betting markets means opportunities to exploit are not in short supply. However, finding people with sufficient skill and versatility to attack these projects are hard to find.
