About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Mentor to support high-risk and complex neurodiverse pupils directly. You will work with pupils in the community or in their home, providing a differentiated and holistic education.

The school is an independent social enterprise providing specialist therapeutic education based in London, supporting exceptional neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 19 who have special educational needs and disabilities typically associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs, and associated disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized support to high-risk and complex neurodiverse pupils, promoting positive outcomes and inclusion.
  2. Work collaboratively with educationalists, therapists, social workers, and experts in nurturing and therapeutic education to deliver a holistic education.
  3. Contribute to the development of pupil-centered plans, ensuring tailored support meets the unique needs of each child.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Requirements
  • Minimum one year's experience working directly with high-risk and complex pupils in a recognized setting.
  • Substantial experience supporting neurodiverse children with ASC and/or SEMH, understanding potential implications for communication, learning, and behavior patterns.
  • Positive role model with emotional intelligence and resilience.
