Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join our Respiratory Physiotherapy Team as a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in Respiratory Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex clinical caseload covering the Acute Respiratory Medicine wards as well as Coronary Care Unit, Renal Medicine and Cardiology wards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex clinical caseload covering multiple wards
- Work collaboratively with the Oxygen Service team to support patient assessment and prescription of Home Oxygen Therapy
- Provide teaching and supervision for physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and members of the Multidisciplinary Team
- Participate in the training of staff working on the overnight on call and weekend rotas
Requirements
- Experience in all aspects of management of respiratory conditions in the acute setting
- Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to the diverse and variable demands of caring for patients within a fast-paced environment
