Support Worker Advocate

Mencap is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our dedicated team in the Northampton area. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, and waking nights, across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live independently
- Build positive relationships with service users, promoting understanding and social interaction
- Support individuals to access and participate in their local community and social events, promoting life skills and individuality
- Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, budget management, and cooking healthy meals
What We Offer
Mencap offers a competitive salary, estimated at £18,000-£22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
