Job Description

At Rand Europe, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology Policy Research Leader to join our Science and Emerging Technology (SET) research group in Cambridge or Brussels. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to contribute to shaping technology policy research.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of delivering research projects on technology policy issues and be able to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of research projects. The role holder will also be responsible for contributing to the team's thought leadership on technology policy issues and mentoring research staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the development and growth of our technology policy research portfolio, managing groups of talented researchers, and publicising our work through a range of communications and outreach activities.
  • Contributing to the team's thought leadership on technology policy issues by writing articles, blogs, and reports, and presenting at conferences and workshops.
  • Mentoring research staff and facilitating the development of others' project management and methodological skills.

As a Senior Technology Policy Research Leader, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of technology development, its challenges and opportunities, associated policy issues, and future implications. You will also need to have experience of using mixed-methods research and engagement to explore these issues.

Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a flexible, hybrid working model, with the option to work from home and travel requirements. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
