About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School in Grantham. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general classroom support for students in KS1 and KS2
  • Facilitate learning through play and small group interventions for students requiring additional help
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to promote the acquisition of learning goals
Requirements
  • Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years
  • Ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
  • Organised and reliable
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new one
