About the Role

GSL Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Teach Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in behaviour management to make a significant impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement positive behaviour strategies to support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons and meeting students' needs.
  • Contribute to creating a positive classroom environment that encourages learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress.
  • Assist in monitoring and recording student progress, contributing to the planning and assessment process.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with behaviour management.
  • Team Teach training or certification is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to student support.
  • Ability to adapt to varying needs and situations within the school environment.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
