Job Title: Hydraulic System Specialist

Location: Glenrothes, UK

Estimated Salary: £40,000 + day rate when offshore

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic System Specialist to join our team at HSB Technical. As a hydraulic system specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of subsea controls equipment.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in hydraulic systems maintenance, repair, and installation, especially in subsea environments. They will also have strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with hands-on experience in overhauling hydraulic components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics to perform precise work.
  2. Utilize measuring and recording equipment to ensure accuracy in maintenance and repair tasks.
  3. Work with high-pressure systems and pressure-generating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  4. Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment issues as required, providing technical expertise to resolve problems efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic systems maintenance, repair, and installation, especially in subsea environments.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Experience working with high-pressure equipment and hydraulic systems.

Certifications (Desirable):

  • Offshore survival and medical certification.
  • Hydraulic systems certification.
  • Subsea control systems training.
