Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Officer to join our team at Swanwick Lodge, a secure children's home in Hampshire. As a Night Care Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and provide care during the night for children with complex needs.
- Ensure the needs of children are met during night-time hours, including observations, record-keeping, and risk management.
- Build positive relationships with children and provide a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Experience of residential care work.
- Appropriate Diploma Level 3/HNC/City and Guilds Certificate or practical experience.
- Understanding of key legislation relevant to children and young people.
