Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Officer to join our team at Swanwick Lodge, a secure children's home in Hampshire. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse team to provide care and support to children with complex needs during nighttime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and provide care to children during nighttime hours, ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Complete accurate records and observations, and manage the risk of self-harm and absconding.
- Build positive relationships with children and meet their basic needs in a way that demonstrates care and acknowledges their individuality.
Requirements:
- Experience of residential care work.
- Appropriate Diploma Level 3/HNC/City and Guilds Certificate or practical experience.
- Understanding of key legislation relevant to children and young people.
