Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a warm and welcoming school in Grimsby. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils aged 2-3 years old in the day care unit of the Primary School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons to promote pupil learning and development.
  • Assist pupils with their daily activities, including meals, snacks, and outdoor play.
  • Help to maintain a safe and healthy environment for pupils, including cleaning and tidying the classroom and playground.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Right to work in the U.K.
  • Enhanced DBS on update service (or willing to undertake one).
  • Satisfactory references.
