Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Facilities Operations will support the Director of International Facilities and Real Estate in overseeing all aspects of facility operations and management. This role requires a strong background in facilities management, planning, and project management, along with exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to all sites to ensure facilities are properly managed or maintained, in compliance with STERIS standards and governing regulations.
  • Assist with project management, including collaboration with external vendors and contractors.
  • Manage a team of facilities staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with data collection and management of facilities assets for use in preventative maintenance and capital planning.
  • Support the implementation of STERIS and Global Facilities and Real Estate sustainability initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, architectural, or engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of building operations, mechanical and electrical systems, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and review bids/quotes for projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
