Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Global Facilities and Real Estate team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations and management in compliance with the objectives and directives of Global Facilities and Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of International Facilities in developing and implementing strategic plans for EMEA facilities.
  • Advise on operations of EMEA facilities to align with organizational objectives, including maintenance, repairs, security, and janitorial services.
  • Manage a team of EMEA facilities staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with project management, including collaboration with external project management vendors.
  • Utilize digital drawing systems, such as CAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and other similar tools.
  • Utilize digital computer-aided facilities management software, CAFM, systems.
  • Assist with data collection and management of facilities assets for preventative maintenance and capital planning.
  • Assist with implementation of STERIS and Global Facilities and Real Estate sustainability initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Act as a liaison between facility director and facility staff, providing regular updates on facility operations and performance.
  • Assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor facility and project-based budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in facilities management, project management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' knowledge of building operations, mechanical and electrical systems, and best practices.
  • 5+ years' knowledge of building maintenance, repair, construction, materials, and equipment.
  • 3+ years' understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • 3+ years' ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
  • 3+ years' experience with reviewing tender/bid offers or similar.
  • 3+ years' experience with sustainability in building and the built environment.
