Job Title: Account Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Account Development Specialist to join our team at Austin Fraser. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing meaningful activities for residents in our care homes.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability. You will work closely with our care teams to design and deliver engaging programs that meet the needs of our residents. Your main focus will be on delivering 80% of your working time on vibrant and meaningful activities across all units of the home. Additionally, you will lead on the design, development, and implementation of our home newsletter, build strong external links within the local community, organize local charity events, and ensure all regulatory and statutory requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver 80% of your working time on vibrant and meaningful activities across all units of the home with targeted programs that meet the needs of the resident groups.
- Lead on the design, development, and implementation of the home newsletter that reports on the home's events and activities of interest.
- Build strong and positive external links within the local community for the home.
- Organize local charity events hosted within the home.
- Ensure all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements:
- NVQ HSC level 3 or QCF HSC award 3 (or higher).
- Experience of working and/or engaging with older people (both living with and without dementia).
- Experience delivering high-quality relationship-centered care.
- Knowledge of and competence in core Microsoft Office applications.
- Data management (for record keeping and review).
- Reliable, flexible, adaptable, punctual.
- Able to travel to other RCH homes as required (training).
