At International Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of medical and non-medical related repatriations and evacuations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient transportation cases, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of medical services.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding large losses, complex patient hospital admissions, and patient transportation.
- Liaise with the Medical Team to ensure optimal logistics for patient transportation.
- Oversee the coordination of air ambulance evacuation and repatriation of individuals from initial request to patient drop off.
- Ensure cost containment and efficient use of resources.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, good listening skills, and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a 'can do' attitude.
- Experience of working in an insurance or compliance environment would be advantageous.
- Fluent in English and an additional language (German, French, or Italian).
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite.
- Competitive salary of £54,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience).
- 5% annual bonus (performance-based).
- Working from home (remote or hybrid).
