Nanoscale Device Fabrication Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the Department of Materials at The University of Manchester and work on the development of new methods for nanoscale device fabrication.

About the Job

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, synthesis, and characterisation of nanoscale devices using advanced electron microscopy techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Design and synthesise nanoscale devices using various materials and techniques.
  • Characterise the properties of nanoscale devices using electron microscopy and other advanced techniques.
  • Collaborate with the research group to develop new methods for nanoscale device fabrication.
Requirements

We require a PhD in an appropriate area of physics, chemistry, or a related discipline, with expertise in electron microscopy and lithography with electron and/or ion beams.
