Seeking a Highly Motivated Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to characterise direct write lithographic approaches to nanoscale devices in the Department of Materials at The University of Manchester.

About the Role

The successful applicant will support synthesis and characterisation efforts toward sustainable high-resolution routes to nanofabrication of nanoscale semiconductors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in day-to-day supervisorial activities for Prof David J. Lewis' wider group of diverse PhD and MSc students.
  • Support project supervision, health and safety, and assistance with the drafting of manuscripts.
  • Characterise direct write lithographic approaches to nanoscale devices.
Requirements

We require a PhD in an appropriate area of physics, chemistry, or a related discipline, with experience in electron microscopy and lithography with electron and/or ion beams.
