Head of Quality and Business Excellence

About the Role

Overview
Siemens Energy is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Business Excellence and Quality Assurance team for the Small Gas Turbines (SGT) business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement, quality management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the team responsible for Business Excellence and Quality Assurance of the SGT business.
• Ensure continual improvement of processes and products, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Direct resources to conduct and support improvement projects within the business related to HSE, quality, and people management standards.
• Ensure SGT processes are fit for purpose through effective use of Quality Management techniques.

Impact and Deliverables
• Support the business in delivering products within budget and to required quality standards.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance capability, efficiency, and output in the short and long term.
• Develop, gain agreement for, support, and ensure the delivery of improvement projects to meet business targets.
• Effective communication of strategies and objectives is crucial to creating an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and positive industrial relations.

Requirements
• In-depth understanding of continuous improvement, agile, and lean techniques to the level of Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
• Quality Management System ownership and development experience in line with regulatory requirements.
• Management experience in both project and manufacturing environments.
• A BSc and/or MSc in an appropriate discipline is required.
• Management qualification is desirable.
