Head of Quality and Business Excellence

About the Role

Location United Kingdom, Lincolnshire, Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office)

As a key member of the Siemens Energy team, you will oversee the team responsible for Business Excellence and Quality Assurance of the Small Gas Turbines (SGT) business. Your primary focus will be on ensuring continual improvement of processes and products, as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct resources to conduct and support improvement projects within the business related to HSE, quality, and people management standards.
  • Ensure that SGT processes are fit for purpose through effective use of Quality Management techniques.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance business processes, reduce waste and variation, and impact our product cost.
  • Support the business and ensure timely delivery of products within budget and to required quality standards.
  • Develop, gain agreement for, support, and ensure the delivery of improvement projects to meet business targets.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of continuous improvement, agile, and lean techniques to the level of Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
  • Quality Management System ownership and development experience in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Management experience in both project and manufacturing environments.
  • A BSc and/or MSc in an appropriate discipline is required.
  • Management qualification is desirable.
