Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic IT Transformation Consultant to join our team in the UK. This role will involve driving digital transformation initiatives, mitigating risks, and achieving operational excellence for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex consulting engagements, develop and deliver modern IT strategies, and build strong relationships with senior leaders.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead cross-unit teams in delivering complex consulting engagements, including project management, business development, and client relationship building.
  • Develop and position value for Kyndryl's largest accounts and groundbreaking opportunities, leveraging your expertise in IT strategy, change management, and organizational design.
  • Promote intellectual property assets by expanding existing Consult offerings, developing new offers when needed, and enhancing consulting methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with senior leaders to drive client outcomes and contribute to the growth of our business unit.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A proven track record in IT Consulting or IT Management Consulting with regional or global consulting firms, demonstrating delivery and business development success and growth.
  • Recognized externally and internally as a Consult leader on multiple specialization areas, able to create, position, and deliver modern IT strategies, operational models, complex digital transformations, and business/financial value realization engagements and roadmaps.
  • Experience in building cross-unit notoriety as a subject-matter expert, with demonstrated subject-matter expertise externally with clients and/or through publications, speaking events, industry forums, and blogs on the above specialization.
  • Able to operate in a newly forming business unit and contribute in an entrepreneurial fashion to help lead and deliver client outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in creating, developing, and closing pipeline to achieve signing targets of £5-10 million annually on specific accounts, sectors, or geography.
  • Ability to drive smaller sales efforts, close after initial identification with minimal oversight and support, and participate in complex sales efforts, seeking assistance as required, and having a positive impact on sales closure.
  • Able to drive team and personal billable and chargeable utilization as required by the business, demonstrate a lead role in resolving complex contract, client, solution, technical, or political issues critical to delivery, and deliver complex projects and/or fixed price components with a mix of global, local, and subcontractor employees and product development challenges to price case and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively seek assistance in difficult delivery situations, get right SMEs involved in delivery as required, instill confidence, trust, and credibility in clients, build and sustain strong, long-term relationships as demonstrated through NPS scores or development of client success stories.
  • Behave in a Player/Coach model to act as coach or mentor to fellow team members, as well as carry individual targets, role model to others outside of project team(s), large sphere of influence, effectively collaborate across Consult service areas, functions, or entities while inspiring a positive employee experience and enhanced climate.

  • Exceptional and advanced PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills to convey messages and deliverables through modern consulting techniques.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate insights from findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in client and internal Kyndryl teams with empathy, understanding, and recognizing multiple points of view, but getting to outcomes with kindness and resolve.
  • Demonstrates a self-starter mindset and commitment to client and Kyndryl outcomes, ability to mentor and mentee, create an environment and workplace of choice for peers and team members, be the role model of professional excellence.
  • Possesses critical thinking capabilities to analyze data and inputs with objectivity and provide strategic roadmaps and recommendations.

Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is approximately £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, plus benefits package.
