About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Acute Medicine and Rehabilitation at King's College Hospital.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to work within our busy Physiotherapy Department, providing high-quality care to patients across various specialties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of medical conditions, including musculoskeletal, respiratory, and neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop tailored rehabilitation plans to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to junior staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend rotas, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Degree or other recognized qualification in physiotherapy.
  • HPC registration and up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Proven experience in acute medicine and rehabilitation settings, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Able to demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in complex situations.

Salary and Benefits
