We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in the Physiotherapy Department, specializing in emergency/acute medicine, specialist medicine, and rehabilitation of older people.

  • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Clinical Lead Physiotherapists and contribute to shared learning, service development, and research across the medical pathway.

The work pattern includes weekends and extended hours as required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Band 6 Senior Community Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in various settings, including acute units, wards, and community clinics.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or recognized qualification in physiotherapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Wide-ranging post-graduate clinical experience in areas such as musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, respiratory, elderly, and neurology.
  • Strong assessment and treatment skills, with the ability to think logically and problem-solve under pressure.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
