We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our Accounting & Finance team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
- Regularly make contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed.
- Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
- Review customer credit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure credit worthiness.
- Prepare monthly reports on credit control activity for the Accounting & Finance team.
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues.
- Liaise with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
- Previous experience working within a collections environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, and an ability to work under pressure.
- A high level of accuracy and efficiency.
