Simulation-Based Education Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to contribute to the development of simulation-based education at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including high-fidelity mannequins and virtual reality tools.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain training outlines, session plans, learning objectives, competency statements, and visual aids.
  • Collaborate with clinical experts to review training programme content regularly.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust to ensure education provided meets Core standards, Clinical Governance criteria, and national standards required.

Salary Details

The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A recognised Clinical professional registration (NMC/AHP qualifications).
  • Post Graduate Certificate of Education or equivalent.
  • BSc in a health-related field or evidence of working at this level.
  • Maintained relevant CPD activity of a minimum 35 hours in the past 3 years.
  • Relevant post-registration experience in an acute clinical area.
