The Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Main Duties- Plan, deliver, and evaluate care for patients receiving cardiac diagnostics and interventions
- Demonstrate knowledge of the cardiac system and understand conditions that affect the heart
- Maintain professional development according to the Knowledge and Skills Framework and NMC requirements
- Registered 1st Level or equivalent as verified by the NMC
- GCSE Maths, English, and Science grade C and above or equivalent
- Knowledge of current research applicable to the post's specialist area
- Able to manage the care for a group of people and prioritise workload with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate effectively to patients, visitors, and colleagues
- The ability to work under pressure
- Able to write basic reports
- Able to train less qualified carers/learners
- Be proficient at calculating medication doses
