We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at LT Selection. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for implementing our business sales strategy, identifying and building new business opportunities, and delivering high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of employer engagement/business development professionals to secure new business opportunities through active engagement with current and new employers.
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
  • Attend appointments with employers/potential learners to provide current information about programmes and associated funding.
  • Assess individual employer requirements to select the most appropriate training solutions for their business needs.
  • Actively implement new sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on programmes Government funding and initiatives.
  • Liaise with various internal departments and personnel.
  • Use bespoke management information systems to manage and track employer and engagement activities.
  • Handle sensitive private and confidential information professionally adhering to GDPR legislation.

  • Demonstrates a dynamic approach to business development.
  • Has a history of generating and implementing innovative business development ideas.
  • Has a proven track record of meeting challenging sales targets and leading strong sales performance across various programmes.
  • Is responsible for driving strategic growth and developing our client portfolio of highly satisfied employers stakeholders and learners.
  • Has experience building and maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of businesses and stakeholders.
  • Has a history of generating new customer accounts while nurturing relationships with current stakeholders/employers.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibits excellent attention to detail time management and organizational skills.
  • Has a high level of client focus empathy and understanding and is a team player.
  • Is adaptable and enjoys working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  • Is dedicated to outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Can work effectively with personnel across the organization.
  • Has excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new software.
