About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Support Worker to join our team at Premier Community. As a Community Carer, you will have the opportunity to start or grow your career in the health and social care sector.

The role of a community carer has many misconceptions, but once you start, you may find it incredibly rewarding. Here are the standardised types of duties our carers would be involved in day-to-day:

  1. Make visits to clients in their own homes using your own vehicle.
  2. Help Premier's clients meet their desired outcomes from our services.
  3. Assist with personal care such as washing and showering.
  4. Cook and serve meals and drinks.
  5. Administer medications.
  6. Support with daily living activities.
  7. Record visits live with our digital care planning system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Visiting Clients: Make regular visits to clients in their own homes, providing support and companionship.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing and showering.
  • Cooking and Serving: Prepare and serve meals and drinks for clients.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to clients as required.
  • Daily Living Activities: Support clients with daily living activities, such as dressing and grooming.
  • Recording Visits: Record visits live with our digital care planning system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Full UK Driving Licence to enable you to visit clients in their own homes.
  • High Personal Values that align with our company values.
  • A Professional Approach to complete our training and ongoing development.
