Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AHP Practice Education Facilitator to join our team at Medway Community Healthcare. As a key member of our dynamic group, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the professional development and clinical competence of AHPs across our organisation, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes.


Main Duties

  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of AHP training programmes to ensure alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and educational materials that promote best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and supervision to AHP students, preceptors, and newly qualified practitioners to facilitate their transition into clinical practice.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessment and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Keeper abreast of advancements in AHP practice, education, and technology to ensure training programmes remain current and relevant.

Person Specification

To be considered for this role, you will need to have AHP registration, post-registration experience of at least three years, and experience of supporting AHP students, staff, and apprentices. You will also need to have a good understanding of the practice requirements of pre-registration learners across a range of professions and be able to facilitate the induction, education, and continuing professional development for all levels of registered and non-registered AHP staff.
