Job Summary:

As a Brand Ambassador for Maui Jim, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality sunglasses and Zeal Products in a specific geographic region. Your primary goal will be to maintain and increase sales, as well as provide excellent customer service and technical support to our accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing them with product knowledge and technical assistance.
  • Travel throughout your designated territory to sell and promote Maui Jim sunglasses and Zeal Products, and to collect and offer feedback on the market and competitors.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities in accordance with the company's marketing agenda and guidelines.
  • Monitor and develop direct relationships with retail stores in your territory to ensure they are selling Maui Jim and Zeal Products in accordance with brand equity and increasing shelf space.
  • Collect and supply information to management that can provide better service and penetration into the market.
  • Represent the company at professional meetings and industry functions as requested.
  • Complete sales and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as requested or required.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a business field with a minimum of 2-3 years of successful field sales experience, preferably in the sunglass or optical industry.
  • High school graduate with 1-2 years of college and a minimum of 3-4 years of field sales experience, also preferably in the sunglass or optical industry.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, strong people skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and the ability to learn quickly and work with change.
  • Ability to travel overnight and to carry 30 pounds, as well as possess a driver's license and storage availability.

Work Environment:

This position requires frequent travel throughout the designated territory, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
