About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Ingram Micro. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex IT issues, escalating to senior support engineers when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other support engineers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Document support processes and resolutions for future reference.
  • Provide regular progress updates to customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist or similar role in an IT environment.
  • Knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and systems would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a Support/Service/Helpdesk environment.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
