We're supporting our client, a leading global adhesives manufacturer and distributor based in Northwich, who are looking for a Technical Applications Specialist to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have experience in new business development and formal sales training.

Position Overview: As a Technical Applications Specialist, you'll act as an ambassador for the company, building a network of connections through networking, social media and referrals. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with customers and being their contact for any feedback and/or queries.

Sales Support – Loading visit notes on CRM, booking meetings in outlook calendar, preparing notes for upcoming visits, doing quotes, follow up actions from previous meetings, booking travel arrangements.

About You:

  1. Must have had some formal sales training.
  2. Good geographical understanding to plan travel.
  3. Sold a similar product type such as ink, coatings, packaging etc.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc is beneficial.
  5. Some past experience in adhesives would help.
  6. Comfortable getting on the phone and visiting new/existing customers.
