Amica Care Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Cook to lead our culinary team and provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with our care team to ensure that our residents receive personalized and dignified care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends, techniques, and regulations to maintain our high standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 equivalent qualification in a kitchen and cookery, with previous experience in a senior kitchen role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
