Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced SEND teacher to join our team at Connex Education. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who can deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Supportive Learning Environment: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the holistic well-being of students, and maintain regular communication with parents and external agencies as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential qualification for this role.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities, strong understanding of SEND strategies, interventions, and best practices.
  • Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, ability to adapt teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
