Job Title: Specialist SEND Secondary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Specialist SEND Secondary Teacher to join our team at Axcis Education Recruitment. This full-time role is focused on delivering high-quality education to students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring every learner reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work collaboratively with support staff to meet the needs of each student.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where students feel valued and supported.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance SEND teaching practices.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working with students with SEND in a secondary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs to achieve their best outcomes.
