Aerospace Safety Specialist

SpaceTech International is seeking a highly experienced Aerospace Safety Specialist to lead ongoing project and product development in the aerospace/aviation industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in whole aircraft systems or other subsystems such as power distribution, avionics, power generation, and propulsion.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in systems and/or systems safety engineering
- 8+ years of experience working within the aerospace/aviation industry
- Strong knowledge of Aircraft Safety Assessment, including conducting assessments and planning policies/procedures
- Familiarity with safety analysis techniques: FHA, FTA, and FMEA
- Knowledge of reliability prediction techniques
- Understanding of systems development following ARP4754 (or equivalent standard)
- Software or hardware safety expertise, DO254 or DO178
- Knowledge of safety assurance techniques for safety-critical products/components
- Nice to have: knowledge of cyber security assessment for aircraft, aviation, aerospace
