About this role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Software Quality and Test Engineer to join our services engineering team in Nottingham, UK. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading system-level quality engineering and delivery, ensuring high-quality solutions that improve customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead system-level quality engineering and delivery in a cross-functional services engineering team.
  • Develop and implement test strategies, identifying functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Coach and mentor engineers on best practices in delivering quality outcomes.
  • Elevate quality within the Capital One Services, working across multiple engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading quality engineering and delivery in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to coach and mentor engineers on quality best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
