We are currently seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and mental health problems.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour, as well as de-escalation training or a similar background. You will be working in a school setting, providing one-to-one support to children and young people who require assistance due to various reasons.

This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm daily. We offer a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your success in this role.

Job Requirements:

  • Some experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour
  • Experience of de-escalation training or a similar background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and understanding
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
