About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and remedial works to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Work alongside a small team to deliver maintenance services and associated contract outputs.
- Complete all reports and associated paperwork.
- Participate in the on-call rota, with allowances paid and a company van provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience delivering facilities management services for buildings and equipment.
- Ideal experience with electrical bias, but we will consider other trades, including HVAC, Mechanical, or Plumbing.
- Flexible with a "can-do" attitude and ability to multi-skill.
- Appreciation of working at height, step ladder use, and inspection.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license.
- Recognized qualification in a building service discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing).
- Electrical Engineering – City and Guilds parts one and two or equivalent (17th or 18th edition) is highly desirable.
Security Clearance
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
- Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
