Health and Safety Officer

This Senior Environmental Health Officer position is an exciting opportunity to work in two diverse teams within our organisation. As a member of the Food and Health and Safety Team or the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our communities.
You will be responsible for investigating complaints, conducting inspections, and implementing interventions in accordance with relevant legislation and council policies. Your expertise in environmental health will enable you to provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and external stakeholders.
The salary for this position is estimated at £30,000-£35,000 per annum, based on a 37-hour working week. However, please note that this figure is subject to change and may be adjusted accordingly.
